HEALTH IS STARTED FROM HOME
Posted on November 23rd, 2009 in Inner Healing At Home Cancer, Pollution
Home is our haven, in which we have our daily activities, start from wake up, take a bath, have breakfast, play, watch TV, sleep, etc. No wonder most of us spend almost 50-80% our time in house. It prevents us from getting wet from the rain, from getting heat from the sunny day, and from the cold when the night fall. Without we realize, we’re counting on our home very much as much as our hope for being protected all day. But, did we realize that something very harmful are haunting in our sweetest home? And may be it has been accompanying us even since the first time we stay in the house. What is it or what are they exactly? Let’s find out. These clues are maybe quite useful for us. Not just for you, but also for me.
Our home is truly potential unhealthy to precipitate allergy, also cancer, if you couldn’t set with a good design. Don’t be rush to blame your friend’s cigarette. The source of the problem could come from your house. How come this happen? We has inhaled or ingested something dangerous. We’ve been exposed for unknown time. And after they’re accumulated in our body, they caused so many bad effects for our health.
“In Indonesia there’re 8,2% patients with asthma, 17,5% with rhinitis allergica, and 2,5-4% with eczema. It is said that 22% people in the world got allergy and this number is increasing year by year.” said Heru Sundaru, MD from Clinical Allergy Immunology Division, Internal Medicine Department, Ciptomangunkusumo General Hospital / Medical Faculty of University of Indonesia.
Don’t you know that our house is the source of cancer? Don’t you realize you add more source of cancer to your house every single day? And you still don’t even think that it could endanger you and your family. That because they have 3 characteristics :
- Invisible, or at least can’t be seen by our bare eyes. More of them are invisible for your nose (eg. Radon, Lead, Carbondioxyde)
- Long term side effect (eg. itchy, headache, respiratory disorders, cancer)
- Exist not as single substance, but as part of other things (eg. Benzene, Formaldehyde)
Health should be started from our own home, but unfortunately our home is not save for us anymore. It’s containing something that not good for us. In other side, we can’t ignore our need of haven, shelter, and our bedroom to sleep. Then, many people do not care with this all about. Do not care is the first sequence of bad sequences in our health. I didn’t say that do not care mean do not have choice. We do have a choice, but we don’t know how to deal with them since we live in a extremely modern world. Their existence seem unavoidable.
First step to deal with those unhealthy things in our house is to know and recognize them. We can’t cut apple if we don’t know what things can cut. We can’t clean something in house if we don’t know what to be cleaned. We can’t fix something if we don’t know what and how to fix it. So, the first thing is to know and recognize them. Whether you want to fix them or not, I’d prefer planning how to deal with them. Remember, to get healed, you have to care first.

Thx for visiting. Yes, i think the best starting point for health is our own home. But, too bad we can’t avoid adding more and more endanger thing into our house. I hope one day we’ll have something that we can call it as home.
