Cedera kepala pada anakUsia 1-5 tahun merupakan masa-masa dimana anak sangat aktif bergerak, berjalan, bahkan berlari. Tidak jarang ia terjatuh dan kepalanya membentur sesuatu seperti lantai, pintu, meja, dan sebagainya. Jika cederanya ringan, mungkin tidaklah mengkhawatirkan. What left?As we know that Indonesia located in the ring of fire which made Indonesia as an earthquake potential. We can’t avoid the disaster, but at least we should know the signs early, so we can prepare and prevent ourselves from the worst thing that might happen. We should live with nature not as enemy, but as friend. If we built something on West Sumatra land, make sure that those buildings were adjusted to the nature of West Sumatra.

EARTHQUAKE IN WEST SUMATRA : BEFORE AND AFTER — (Part 2)

Presiden Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono visited the victims in a tent.This earthquake created a massive destruction. In first 6 hours, people confused and didn’t know what to do. Usually they went back to their house and found that their house were ruined. Then, they sit and cried. Psychic trauma was worse than physic trauma. My cousin in Padang said that it’s difficult to find clean water, no bathroom, no food, and no shelter. Think, in first 6 hours, what they should do?

Earthquake predictionWest Sumatra is a rather fragile land, even 6 ritcher scale could make a massive destruction. There’re so many news reported this big disaster, told us about the massive destruction in West Sumatra. More than 700 people died, more than 2000 people wounded, and more than 200.000 house damaged. We’re very shocked.
But, it is more shocked to know that….
it was a predictable earthquake!!
